Ron CraigAlways cutting off the end of videos...

I know why Episode often cuts off the end of the videos that I'm encoding. I just want it to stop.

I often deploy one of several "User Workflows" that I have set up. My problem is the way Episode "assumes" that the video I'm encoding with a user workflow today has the same length as the video I encoded last week. When using a User Workflow, Episode's default is to set an outpoint that matches the length of the LAST video I encoded with that workflow. And, of course, I regularly forget that behavior so my encodings often have the ends clipped off and I have to manually set a new outpoint and re-encode. My fault; I know. I got that. BUT:

I believe the default length Episode sets should match the length of the video I'm encoding RIGHT NOW; the one I just brought in, not the one I did yesterday. Whenever a new video is brought into play in any situation, Episode should default to a full start-to-finish encoding, shouldn't it?

I really think this is wonderful software. Best encoder (out of many) that I have every bought. Except for this. Is there a workaround other than magic memory pills that I need to buy?
