I have indeed tried a self contained QT. Same issue.

...Although...
It occurred to me (after going through tons of networking options etc..) that I had Internal File Caching turned on or off for every output each time i tested. I decided to try making my M2V file Internal Caching, my WM9 external. etc.. so that each one was set differently.
This worked. Each computer on the network was able to then run at full speed without error.

Now this is not the way I had assumed the program worked...Rather then assigning a task per computer so to speak I assumed that it would just use what ever was available from any computer on the cluster and distribute any Splits amoungst them.

Where as it seems to have split up the WM9 file all on the 1st mac, the M2V is all split up on the 2nd etc..
