Episode Engine -

Chris are you on Xsan? That would be the fastest way to accomplish split-n-stitch using Engine. Else Episode is going to need to copy over ethernet to all the nodes before it begins transcoding. This will slow you down and almost eliminate much of the savings of SNS depending on the source file size. If they're all on Xsan and have direct access to the same files, no copying is necessary, it just starts immediately.

That's really the only difference now with Episode 6 since the engine is now a part of the main product, not a separate product like in Episode 5.x.

There are some other considerations if you want to include PCs in the mix, but it sounds like you're all Mac.

Your other question regarding chapter markers - i don't know of any way to maintain this information.
