Sorry to take so long to get back. First of all we have had MANY sync issues with DG and local cable outlets. In almost every case it is a problem with the outlet switching from network HD to cable local. As a result our spots are up to 3 seconds out of sync. The only solution we've found is to contact the outlet directly, explain the problem, and then re-upload to DG. It's silly and it keeps happening but rest assured it's not you or DG's fault! As for settings: OUTPUT = MPEG-PS (mpg), Mux Packet: 2048 VIDEO = Bitrate based, CBR, 18000 kbits/s, VBV Buffer: 5.00, Quality: 50, Check Use 2-pass Encoding, Display Aspect Ratio: (we use 4x3), Field Order: Same as Input, GOP Type: Closed, GOP Format: Long Gop, P-Frames: 4, B-Frames: 2 *** TURN ALL OTHER FILTERS OFF ! *** AUDIO = Bit Rate: 384 kbit/s, Layer II, Pshycho Model: 2, Channels: Stereo *** TURN ALL OTHER FILTERS OFF !*** So that is how we've managed the best looking encodes for DG and believe me they've checked. I hope this helps! - Nik
