Re: FCP 6 to FCP 7 causes Episode Pro encodes to look terrible

I've gone over the FCP settings very carefully and I am sure they are identical. So this morning I tried your very simple, very basic DG settings and turned OFF every other filter. And with a huge grin discovered a perfect compression! I uploaded one hour earlier this morning and DG New York has yet to flag it so my fingers are tightly crossed. You have no idea how much you've helped me today! THANK YOU! Now as to the WHY... I would dearly love to have a better understanding of FCP output and the differences but I'm down two editors this week and the scripts keep rolling in so the exact specs and comparisons will have to wait until tonight when I can breathe. Again, a million thanks for now but rest assured I will figure this out! - Nik
