project settings and export
by stevesteve on Nov 22, 2007 at 10:16:58 pm

I have a 600 frame clip made in PI. My preferences in PI read at 1440x1080 and my project settings confirm that. When exported as a QT movie to the desktop it plays and looks just fine. When I do a Command/I of the QT movie it reads:
Apple HDV 1080i60, 1440 x 1080 (1888 x 1062), Millions
840 x 575 pixels

The problem is that when I import this into Final Cut Pro whose sequence settings are 1440x1080i, the clip is so scaled up that most of the clip is not even visible. I know I must be doing something wrong and would hate to have to start this clip all over again, thus if someone could advise me I would appreciate it.
