Try this one:

n = marker.numKeys;

t2 = 0;
seed = 1;

while (t2 <= time){
seedRandom(seed,true);
startMarker = Math.floor(random(n-1)) + 1;
t1 = t2;
t2 += marker.key(startMarker+1).time - marker.key(startMarker).time;
seed++;
}

marker.key(startMarker).time + (time - t1)
