controlling Point Control in a precomp

i saw a recent post about controlling an angle control within a precomp, how can i switch it to controlling a point control instead?

i'm using Dan's reverse IK for just the right arm (using all the same labels, precomp is called "arm")

but i'm using it in a 2.5d character, so the precomp is 2D but it goes into a 3D comp.

i just want to be able to move the r hand effector from outside of the precomp
