ok, so all of these extras are extra sweet - no doubt.
the sonys are a little anamorphic in 720 i have noticed (although in underscan it seems to correct it?) but in 1080 it seems ok.
viewing angle might be a problem on the LCDs as we often have the DPs sitting next to us looking at the crt (only the directors and producers are ok looking at the panny pro 50" plasmas).
the main thing for me is the color/blacks/artifacts/motion.
calibrating between SD and HD is a drag, ok.
bigger size and extras would be nice, but I just feel dropping our PVMs for equal (or almost equal) performance LCDs at this point... (they are now 3-5 yrs old).
we dropped some coin on jl cooper panels which I don't regret one bit and I see new macs and sas eating up whatever else new investment quick.
