R3D to dpx via color?

hi everybody,

this is a very basic question, but i can´t find answers in any manual.

i shot my first red project, edited prores in fcp, reingested my final edit as native quicktime, exported edl, imported into color, color shows my timeline as offline, and there is no way of linking my shots to the original r3d files.

i don´t want to do correction in color, just output my r3ds as dpx for correction at the post house.

is this basically wrong thinking?

and how do i reconnect my shots in color? if i right-click on a clip and say reload, i can go to the right original, same name, same tc, say load, but nothing happens.
