I've seen it all before. Years ago (quite a few of them) we were working for industry clients on 16mm. One day they told us they just bought themselves a Sony U-matic unit and said: "Sorry, we're going to do it ourselves now".

They came back 3 months later and begged us to take over – and paid us the same for working with their gear what they paid us before with our gear…

Just wait!
