Point taken, Joseph. Thanks.
What I'm trying to do is reconnecting the clips to the original timeline in FCP so that I don't have to re-apply the multitude of crossfades of different durations by hand (yes, I got rid of them before sending the project to Color... duh... and I don't have the original sequence before the crossfade removal.)
I suppose that I could try and get an XML of the original project (which has crossfades) from the client, then do a reconform in Color. But I've been having some trouble with reconforming, -- don't know if it has to do with my project duration, -- and so, I'm not sure if that's a viable alternative.
I think that I should ask a separate question about reconforming now. :-)
