Re: custom naming

Basically, the reason I posted my question to begin with, is because I have a fairly long project that's already graded in Color, but there there was a problem with it. I sent the timeline to Color from FCP after I removed all the transitions, not knowing that FCP would be able to re-interpret the transitions after the render and "Send To FCP" command.
So I'm trying to avoid having to re-do the transitions manually. There's a lot of them.
Of course, now that I know that there's a 20-minute limit on the timeline length, I really don't have much of a choice other than rendering files to the hard disk, and then re-linking them manually (or do I?)
Thanks, Walter and Joppo, your discussion is very educational. ;-)
