Once everyone becomes a colorist, (as everyone has become an editor) there will be a new specialty, 3d colorist, and then something else.. continually creating new niches while the market catches up and devalues the previous craft with over saturation. Editing as a professional craft is still going though, so who knows what it will mean.
I'm just waiting for the Tangent wave to work with Color!
