You will hear this a lot. Its really apple's and oranges. Da Vinci 2k + can run you about 1 million dollars for a complete setup. Apple Color is part of a $2000 software package. Its kinda like asking if I can drive a Nascar race car or formula 1 across town to pick up a sandwich. A Mini Van and a Formula 1 both have wheels but they do not serve the same purposes. Apple Color and Da Vinci both do color correction, but again for different levels of production. Choose which one works best for your needs. In my opinion, their is no De-Facto BEST or WORST software/hardware for anything associated with post production. They are different tools and serve a different purpose.
