Dear Walter

I've checked the geometry room and while the grade is not exactly the same, it's an eye match using only the Primary tools.

I suspect that it's a Prores issue. I'm going to switch to Prores (non-HQ) for my next job and see what happens. Because I've got the RAID to handle it, I assumed HQ was a better codec to be in but I guess it's only applicable when you are converting from a higher codec like HDCAM SR for example?

BTW, I do have the option to render as "original format", I'll give it a bash.

The only thing I can liken it to is the difference between capturing HDV via SDI and Firewire... which leads me to think it has something to do with Color, in the way the color subsampling is being handled.

Could it be that the first render was done on Color using an ATI 1900 card and now I'm on a 8Core with the (dumb) ATI 2600 card?
