I know this thread is several months old, but have you found a solution to this problem? Or even a workaround?


I'm running into the same thing. ProRes HQ --> ProRes HQ
In color it looks just a bit darker. In final cut, the blacks are up just a bit.
I've been trying to look and compare the scopes to see it's actually lifting, or if it's just a display issue, but it's hard to tell. My impression is that the scopes are the same.


This is 1080p / 24 footage
Running current FCP2 studio
Black Magic HD Extreme with current drivers
Blackmagic Decklink Extreme to my..
JVC monitor
