This is similar to trying to achieve the "Pleasantville" effect... what am I saying, this IS the Pleasantville effect. Instead of my typing it all out again, can you search for "Pleasantville"... you need to create an alpha combining the two selected areas... so it really is more of a COLORFX approach, rather than secondaries.
