Send to FCP slows to a crawl

Maybe this post should be added to the previous thread, but I'm sending a 24 minute Color project with about 200 clips to FCP.
I get to the "Importing XML data" window, and it speeds along until it gets to 50% and then drops to a crawl. It's been going half an hour now and only just got to 71% and I think it's getting slower.
I tried Force Quitting FCP, and rebooting but it was just the same.

I did this last week with a very similar sequence with absolutley no problem.
The specs are HD 1920x1080 25fps project Pro Res 422.
Some clips were purposely not rendered in Color because they're titles/credit rolls etc.
Mac Pro 4GB RAM

Any ideas?
