Re-export from Color, or CC Uncompressed file?

Here's what is quite possibly a stupid question, but alas... I've CC'd a DVCPROHD project in Color and exported it 8-bit uncompressed (possibly overkill, but I've got the drive space, so why not). Now, I want to globally bring the luma down, and I've already exported the project from FCP into an uncompressed quicktime.

So here's the question... If I bring that single uncompressed quicktime file into Color, do a curves adjustment on it and re-render, will I lose a generation of quality, or is Uncompressed+filter-to-Uncompressed immune from generation loss?

The option, though less appealing, is doing a global primary out adjustment on all the original clips in Color, re-export to Final Cut, re-export to single Quicktime. Obviously, more steps.

Any ideas?
