Disabled Video Output options

I'm having the a problem with my AJA IO - Video Output in Prefs tab showing "Disabled" but it shows all regular options (which are available in other programs--FCP, Motion, AE) are greyed out.

I have a NVIDIA GeForce 7800GT card.
