color xml file back to FCP
by Ace Cruz (editcrib) on May 20, 2008 at 5:03:00 pm

I have an xml file from color and I opened it with FCP 6, which opened fine. I then selected everything on the timeline and asked FCP to reconnect everything. When I do that I hit the locate... button and find the folder with the color media in it and hit choose. I get a "file attribute mismatch" message and I hit continue and it only links one shot at a time.

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong. I want it to connect to all the edits at once not one at a time.
