Grades are gone after Render
by Brian Chin on May 14, 2008 at 9:01:52 pm

Hi Guys,

Sorry if this is talked about before, nothing really came up on the search that was specific.

I sent a ProRes422 sequence from FCP to Color, then graded my shots, set it to render out with the same settings.

When I come back in the next day, not only are my rendered clips not color corrected, but the grading information is no longer in the project? It looks like I had just sent the sequence over from FC and haven't touched it yet.

Any ideas? If you have the grades disabled (which is a often the best way to compare before and after grade), will Color render without the grades? And then delete the grading data? I could have been an idiot and left the grades disabled before hitting render.

Thanks,
Brian
