I may be mis-remembering, but I seem to recall from a test I ran using an external Tektronix scope (which has a handy "freeze" function for side by side comparison) that the colour shift occurred on the way into Color rather than on the way out.

In other words, if you are happy with how things look in Color, there should be no reason to "correct" the colour shift after you have gone back to FCP.

Can anyone confirm or deny this?
