[walter biscardi]
"Are you talking about CMYK numerical values you get in Photoshop? All the colorists I've seen do set up the Primary In room by eye using the RGB Scopes"
I simply want to see the RGB figures as I am setting highlights and shadows. I understand that we can read a lot from the scopes - but surely it is a fact that reading colours by eye can be deceptive at times and so thats why we have the numbers.
I want to calculate the settings for highlight and a shadow that is likely to remove a cast that may not be perceptable immidiately. surely Im not on my own in this??
Rarely would I accept an auto balance (except as you say to give ideas) as we always know how to read and calculate an image better than the computer through a process of selective sampling.
Can you explain why Color allows a selective marker (by clicking in the viewer window in scopes)to be placed in primary?
does this have any function in the primary window?
thanks for your thoughts in advance
Paul
