I know we all sound like elitist jerks to you saying that, but what you are asking is a bit like :

"I've got a very nice sport car but I can't afford real tires, I've heard that some wood barrels and some screws can do the trick, are the Jack Daniels' barrel better than the Four Roses' one ?"

LCD monitoring is for now really tricky with the high ends LCD, so you can imagine how far from being "good" can low end LCD be. (and no, HP, Apple or Dell's LCD are not "high end", Sony Broadcast LCD or eCinema one are high end)

So it's not that what you are asking is impossible, it's just that you expose yourself to a lot of trouble, even more if you are going to make client supervised session.
