Definetly only monitoring and only from within color which makes color judgements useless. You shouldn't be compensating with the grade.
Monitoring from FCP is fine prior to send to color. Haven't tried rendering to see if anything is changed, I think it is just monitoring.
Monitoring in HD seems fine, only PAL SD is the problem.
Be interested to see if your BM card is okay you'll know straight away.
