Stutter playback (rendered)

I have a documentary that was edited on Avid, the editor configured and delivered a Final Cut version that played in Final Cut but would not link in Color, so I media managed the project pro res, completed the grad render it out and now there's a slight stutter, noticeable mostly in pans. Any idea's greatly appreciated.
