Sebastiaan Knotbeginners question - color renders just one frame
by on Mar 20, 2012 at 9:11:46 am

Hello all,

First off, english is not my first language so please forgive my spelling.

Just started to work with color and ran into a problem. I edited my footage in FCP, send it to color, so far so good.

After grading and put everything in the render queue it just renders 1 frame of each shot.
The footage I work with is shot on a GH2 dslr, converted to proRes 422 ( I use a program called 5DtoRGB).
Its HD footage shot on 23.98
In color in the settings1 tab it says for shot 1: Project In 01:00:00:00 / project Out 01:00:08:21
But the trim In/ trim Out and Source In/ Source Out say for every shot the same. 01:02:36:12 and 01:02:36:13. When I add the shots to the render queue these numbers come op as the in and out.

Does this make sense? Am I missing something? Does anybody knows what I am doing wrong? I searched the forum and found only one thread with the same problem but that didn't help.

btw it does work when I first export the sequence from FCP to a quicktime movie and send it to color, the render works ok and keeps the fps.

Kind regards,
Sebastiaan

FCP 7 and color 1.5
