copy the clips in the Sequence to another Sequence. So you end up with a Sequence of the shots you want to send into Color.
Send that Sequence to Color.
Grade and Send back to FCP.
In FCP, copy and paste the graded shots into the finished timeline.
Personally I would send the entire Sequence in because every single shot can look better when it goes through Color.
