For the new computers the ATI Radeon X1900 XT 512MB is the card to have. Silicon Color originally wrote their code to work with the ATI cards. When the Quads came out with PCI-E ATI did not make a card and they had to scramble to rewrite the code to work with the NVIDIA Quadro 4500, but it was never as good as the ATI card. All of Colors processing works through the graphics card, so you must beef up the graphics card to get any kind of performance out of this software. SO..
3.0GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon = ATI Radeon X1900 XT 512MB
2.5ghz Quad or PCI-E = NVIDIA Quadro 4500
Dual Gig processor or PCI-X = ATI 800X
