Cannot Get Color To Work????

Cannot Get Color To Work????

I'm new to COLOR and so far the experience has not been a good show for Apple.

To begin, I only need to lighten a curtain in the background of most of the clips. If I can raise the lightness of the curtain, I'm done.

Right now I cannot get COLOR to accept these clips. When the project is sent to COLOR the clips in the timeline have a big red X through them and nothing appears. Why????

How do I get COLOR to accept this time line so I can make my minor changes???
