converting dpx files with COLOR

I am trying to import a folder of 984 dpx files to convert to ProRes and use in FC. When I navigate in COLOR to the folder the directions say to click on import folder to get ALL the clips in the folder. But the button says import directory and only imports the first file. If I hit it again it imports the 1st file again.
the files are named -dino_alive_RIGHT_EYE_ALL_P3_DCI_rgb_112007.000001.dpx
with the last number going up for each file to 984.
