That's interesting. I recognized the site was directed towards photographers and was wondering whether everything translated for video. Obviously not. I will keep that in mind.

I think in the end I may still purchase one of the NEC monitors plus black magic I/O card. Despite the many shortfalls of this setup, I'm guessing this has got to be better than a cheap ass monitor I bought from office works running off the standard graphics card.

And if people look and my work and spit in my eye for being a substandard colorist cretin, I think I'll survive :)
