"- Did you test the system with SD or HD footage?
- Are you getting floating point?
- Any real time playback - format?
- What kind of drive arrays are you using?"
I tested with DVCPro HD 720p and am getting real time. Floating point- yes. SCSI 2 Tb RAID array- 14 drives.
I haven't tried SD yet but obviously expect no problems. Don't have any HDCam in the shop right now but expect performance to be considerably llower- but probably can make it work.
Color (Final Touch) still beats the hell out of the tools in FCP.
