Re: Color on G5 Dual 2.7 PPC

I went Craigslisting for a card this morning for my dual 2.0 with 5200...as Color would open, but the UI was unusable and it took Color about 1 second to process each frame doing a simple primary in change.
Found a X800XT for $200, got it in this afternoon, and presently cooking away in float. About RT or a little slower with 23.98 SD material. 1080p material significantly slower, but I could still get something done if I HAD to.
Summary: X800 good enough to get SD work done, but can't wait for a new Intel box.
