I have now tried Apple Color on both nvidia 7300 and Ati 1900 cards.
On the Nvidia card you can only do colorgrading in 8-bit and we also got a vertical sync problem on SDI out from our blackmagic decklink. The v sync problem was very strange.
When we replaced the nvidia with the ati 1900 on the same computer. The strange vsync problem disapeared and you could grade not only in 8-bit, but 10-bit, 12-bit, 16-bit and floating point. And we could do a lot more secondaries and still have full framerate on SD.
