can someone outline the basics of graphics cards and colo(u)r
by pom_boarder on May 24, 2007 at 3:59:59 am

Hi,

There have been a few posts now relating to graphics cards. Is anyone able to outline the role the card plays in operating colour and what the better cards offer that the less functional cards don't.

we have a G5qad with a nvidia 6600 256meg card. DO I need a card with more ram, faster processor or is it something else which the top ends have? Any insight appreciated.

Rich
