I have now upgraded the firmware on my 2450 with Brams' help. I didn't for one minute think I'd be able to get support on a Sunday but I had a reply to my email almost instantaneously. With the 9.21 firmware update the banding issue I was having is now imperceptible and pictures look stunning. Thanks Bram for sorting me out and giving such amazing support, even out here on the moon...
