use color bars through final cut pro.....see Color User Manual Page - 330

if you don't have a blue only setting you are pretty much screwed

I believe there are some workarounds using blue gels over the screen - but this is delving into mad scientist DIY territory - google it I guess......

I reiterate - the Color Manual (and also the FCP manual) cover basic setup for a broadcast monitor....

but like JP says....an aging CRT and no probe means this is going to be ballpark territory only.....
