I'll answer here so everyone can see.
Units are currently in production, expected to start shipping end of November. We are accepting pre-orders starting today. Judging from other new product releases you can probably expect a backlog of a few weeks if you wait until end November to order as we work through filling pre-orders.
Alignment kit works the same as all of our other monitors. You can order a DCAA (Direct Connect Automatic Alignment) Kit, which will come with a colorimeter. The colorimeter that ships with the unit has been calibrated against a reference color analyzer to work specifically with the monitor model(s) in question. These units come precalibrated from the factory and the DCAA system is not required right away, especially on the LM-2470W which has a dynamic stability feedback system built-in. As always we will sell and rent the compatible automatic alignment kits.
