It was done through Firewire so that may explain it. No chance of recapture now, it would mean redoing the edit as neither ProRes or HDMI have timecode. We have been quitting FCP so that wont be the issue. Would this be the same with ordinary capture HDV then?

I don't suppose anyone can come up with a workaround?
