I won't speak for Walter, but from my own experience once I got used to the control panel it felt limiting to go back to a tablet or mouse. When I'm using the control panel all I'm looking at is my grading monitor and my scopes, as opposed to the GUI, and I'm also able to make multiple adjustments at the same time.

The analogy I make is touch typing w/a full sized, physical keyboard vs using a tablet/mouse to type on a virtual, on-screen keyboard.
