Split screen for comparisons?

Is there any way of using a still store split screen with moving video?

I may have to regrade an already approved commercial because of a raid failure just prior to the backups being made! Talk about bad luck.

I know i can do it using a lot of still store frames, but it would be really useful to use an already rendered video as the reference.
