I am experiencing the same exact thing but I am using only 1 medium. Red1 footage, converted to Pro Res 4444 in Red Rushes, then imported to FCP 7. All was fine and dandy until I took a project in to Color.
My Pro Res pixels were 960x540 but Color spits them back to FC as 1280x540. This is maddening. I have set the output preference to custom and set the pixels to my desired dimensions and still, Color takes over.
In addition, all vignettes are opaque and therefore useless.
any ideas? I have a deadline creeping up.
