The latest MXO drivers (release is very close) that they showed at NAB allow for greater control of the DVI output to allow better calibration. The SDI output has always been good quality. I have used it for previewing comps in Motion and for basic editing. Must admit I never used it for grading. Can you quantify what is not good about it? Also, MXO does not upconvert only down.
