Color 1.5 and tracking
by Blase Theodore on Sep 8, 2009 at 5:44:28 pm

So evidently Color 1.5 allows you to mix manual and auto tracking. Could anyone comment on the resolution of the other issues with tracking in 1.04?:

1. After an auto-track goes astray, you can't set new in and out points to re-track only the bad section of a clip without losing everything which was already tracked. (In other words if the tracker was fine up until the end, you can't re-track just the end)

2. When in manual tracking, every nth frame (depending on the framerate) is a duplicate of the previous frame, resulting in jumpy tracks. This glitch doesn't happen in auto mode.

Experiences so far?
