You might also consider duplicating the clip and color correcting it for each exposure separately, then putting a small cross dissolve between the 2 clips (you'll have to experiment with the length of the dissolve). In many cases this hides the change smoother than keyframing where the ramping of the exposure is still evident. And it can be a lot easier/faster.
