Re: Help!!! 23.98 1080p footage when rendering in Color becomes interlaced!!! Help!!!

Okay I tried to update this post but I but couldnt find the edit.

Heres what I found out by digging deeper into the problem.

I used log and transfer for my 1080pa footage, and edit my project in a 23.98 timeline. There is no interlacing, just progressive video.

However, if I reveal in finder any of those clips in the timeline from my original fcp project and open it in quicktime, i see there is interlacing, but since I clicked the "removed advanced fields" box upon log and transfer it appears to be progressive.

Color reads and works with the appeared to be progressive video, fine, perfect.

But upon export in color, it exports interlaced footage as my original cliops are. Fine, perfect, I want my new footage exported from color to be identical as the original source, fine, perfect.

Heres the issue,

In my new timeline, or any old timeline for that matter, once I bring in the new Color rendered media, it appears interlaced exactly as my original source, it does not have the pulldown removed, obviously.

So within fcp, how can I acheive this, how can i remove the advanced pulldown from the newly rendered color files, as when I log and transfered with my original files.

I think this may solve the problem, correct? Say my color project has 2000 individual rendered clips, do I have to go to log and transfer and located each of the 2000+ folders? Or is there a faster method to do this?
