Help!!! 23.98 1080p footage when rendering in Color becomes interlaced!!! Help!!!
by Clint Nitkiewicz Hernandez on Jun 3, 2009 at 6:52:56 am

I tried messing with all the deinterlace renders buttons in Color and they do nothing at all. When working in Color, and previewing in color, all is fine, my 23.98 timeline appears progressive, its fine.

But when I render it I see it is interlaced, every 5 frames it doubles up! How do I just render it out as is?

FYI: My original footage is 1080pa Dvdprohd from the hvx camera. I then log and transfered and removed pulldown frames upon importing in fcp. I edited my project as a 23.98 timeline in fcp, and used the send to color method, and all is fine in color, the project remains 23.98, but upon render there is interlacing every 5 frames.

Also I notice when I scroll over any clip, in the bottom right corner where it says settings 1 or settings 2, it says 29.97, yet in the setup room under project settings it says 23.98.

What can be done? Thanks.
